Dubai Chocolate (inspired) Strawberry Fudge

INGREDIENTS

8-10 -fresh strawberries, sliced thin

9 oz - bag dark chocolate chips, lilys or Ghirardelli 60% cacao are my go tos

1 serving - The Peachie Spoon Chocolate Protein Powder

1/4 tsp - Pistachio extract (optional, and literally a couple drops is enough, it’s super strong)

3-4 - shredded wheat cereal, crumbled

1 T - pistachios, chopped and shelled 

STEPS

1)Wash and slice strawberries and place in a 8x8 square dish or sheet pan. 

2)In a medium glass bowl, microwave chocolate chips until melted. I did 1 minute and stirred until smooth and fully melted. You can also heat on the stovetop. Don’t over heat or it’ll be thick. If this happens, add some milk or water to thin. 

3)Add 1 serving protein powder and 1/4 tsp pistachio extract (if using) to the melted chocolate chips and stir until combined. 

4)Pour over berries immediately and top with cereal and chopped pistachios. Gently press larger pieces into chocolate so they don’t fall off. 

5)Place in the fridge or freezer to set 30 min - 1 hour. Slice into 16 pieces and enjoy. Store in fridge or freezer.

The chocolate with the pistachio extract gives this treat, great flavor! We love the crunch of the chocolate and the fresh strawberries just bring it to over the top goodness!
