Savory Cottage Cheese Bowl

Sprinkle in a half teaspoon of everything but the bagel seasoning, adding a delightful medley of savory flavors and textures. Enhance the experience by including 1-2 tablespoons of hummus, providing a velvety and savory complement to the cottage cheese.

For a fresh and crisp element, add your favorite dippables such as cucumber slices or carrot sticks. Elevate the crunch factor with a serving of your preferred crackers—Mary’s or wasa work wonders, creating a perfect balance between creamy, savory, and crispy. The Savory Cottage Cheese Bowl is a quick and tasty option for those moments when you crave a wholesome and satisfying snack.

INGREDIENTS

  • 3/4 c low-fat or full-fat cottage cheese

  • 1/2 tsp of everything but the bagel seasoning

  • 1-2 T hummus

  • desired cucumber or carrots, or 1/2 large cooked potato for dipping

  • 1 serving crackers, my favorite is Mary’s or wasa

     

    STEPS

  1. Assemble everything in a bowl and enjoy!

     

    Notes: Another flavor swap addition is salsa and nuts, adds more fiber. With all these full-fat or low-fat yogurt and cottage cheese both work great. Just tweak adding other fats if using the full fat. Also, if choosing full-fat dairy try to buy organic when you can. If using low-fat, conventional works fine.
