Root Beer Float

Indulge in a nostalgic and healthier twist on a classic treat with this Root Beer Float recipe. Start with a cup of unsweetened almond milk, which serves as a creamy base while keeping the drink light and dairy-free. Add a couple of handfuls of ice to give it that frosty, refreshing texture that we all love in a float. For an extra thick and indulgent consistency, a touch of xanthan gum can be included as an optional thickener. This is complemented by a half serving of your favorite flavored protein powder, infusing the float with a subtle sweetness and a boost of nutrition.

The star of the show, a can of Zevia Creamy Root Beer, adds that essential root beer flavor with a hint of creaminess, all while being low in sugar and calories. For another low-sugar alternative, Poppi’s root beer is also a great choice. Together, these ingredients create a guilt-free treat that’s reminiscent of the old-fashioned soda fountain classic, perfect for a refreshing afternoon delight or a healthier dessert option.
