Ranch Chicken

Who doesn’t love a slow cooker easy dinner recipe? This one can be a protein meal prep for the week too. With only 4 ingredients, and a crowd pleaser, you can go wrong. 

Balanced meal options are put on a salad, potato, or wrap. I love to top with pickled onions too when I have a batch on hand. My kids love ranch chicken on buns, as sliders, or tortillas like a quesadilla with some cheese.

INGREDIENTS

  • 3-4 lbs chicken breasts or turkey tenderloins 

  • 1-1.25 oz ranch powder packet, 1 T of the TJs ranch seasoning works too

  • 8 oz light or regular cream cheese

  • 1 c bone broth 

     

STEPS

  1. Place all ingredients in a slow cooker in the order listed and cook on high 3-4 hours or low 6-8. 

  2. Once cooked, shred with a fork or use a hand mixer to shred chicken. Add back to slow cooker and stir into sauce.

PROTEIN chicken/turkey, broth 

FAT cream cheese 

FIBER none (add veggies)

CARB/STARCH none (add if you want!)

Can I use cottage cheese or yogurt instead of cream cheese?
