I had a few requests to lighten this viral recipe up and I’m glad I did. We all loved it and the flavor was even better the next day, so perfect to prep ahead of time for an app, dip for tailgating, or entertaining. I poured the remaining unused pickle juice into a lidded jar with thinly sliced red onion and the juice of a lemon for my easy quick pickled onion recipe too. Easy peasy!
INGREDIENTS
1 - 32 oz jar of pickles, chopped (used grillo brand)
1/4 c pickle juice
1/4 c sweet relish
1/2 c green onion, chopped (white + light green stems)
1 - 2 T fresh jalapeños, diced small and deseeded
1 - 4 oz package uncured turkey pepperoni, diced small
1 c shredded cheddar, I used sharp
12 oz low-fat whipped cream cheese
1 c nonfat Greek yogurt or cottage cheese (blended smooth)
1 - packet ranch seasoning or 3 T ranch seasoning
a dash of buffalo hot sauce
STEPS
1)Add all ingredients to a large bowl and stir until combined.
2) Pour back into the pickle jar if desired. Serve with chips and/or crackers and veggies.

Love, love, love this! Couldn’t find turkey pepperoni so used regular, and it was great! Making it again this weekend for our Labor Day cookout. Can’t wait to try the chicken salad version!! 🩷

I am dairy free but would really love to try this. Any thoughts on modifications for the dairy? 😬

DF cream cheese and coconut Greek style yogurt
Have you tried without the relish and if so, would you omit anything else for balance? Not a sweet pickle/relish fan
