  • 1 whole chicken, organic when you can

  • 2 lemons, sliced

  • 4-5 fresh sprigs rosemary

  • 1 tsp salt

  • 1 tsp pepper

  • 1 tsp garlic powder

    STEPS

  1. Place the whole chicken in a slow cooker. Season well with garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Add lemon slices and rosemary on and around the chicken. Cook on low for 4-6 hours. If last minute, high for 3 hours works too.

    Notes: This is a great protein source and some healthy fats in the dark meat, so serve with any vegetable and/or potatoes. This is a great meal prep too for lunch.
