Creamsicle Smoothie

Made this smoothie the other day and forgot how much I love it! This one is in Well Made too. As always a blood sugar-friendly recipe and mouth par-tae🥳.

This Creamsicle Smoothie blends creamy Greek yogurt, vanilla protein powder, fresh orange, and a hint of orange rind for a nostalgic, citrusy treat. Add a handful of cashews or a spoonful of nut butter for extra richness, and sneak in some frozen riced cauliflower for hidden veggies and a thick, dreamy texture. A dash of pink salt rounds out the flavors, making this smoothie a refreshing blend of creamy and tangy goodness that feels like dessert in a glass!

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 c milk of choice, if using canned coconut milk skip the nuts (I used unsw cashew)

  • 1 serving The Peachie Spoon Vanilla Protein Powder

  • 1/3 c nonfat Greek yogurt or cottage cheese, I used yogurt

  • few drops vanilla extract

  • 1 cutie or orange, chopped

  • 1 tsp orange rind, washed well

  • 1/2 - 1 c frozen riced cauli or squash

  • 1-2 T husk, flax, or chia (optional fiber)

  • 5-6 cashews or 1-2 T almond or cashew butter

  • 1 c ice, optional

  • dash of pink salt

    STEPS

  • Blend well in any blender.
