INGREDIENTS

  • 2 white onions, sliced thin and chopped

  • 1 clove garlic, minced

  • 2 T coconut aminos

  • 2 T balsamic vinegar

  • 2 c non fat Greek yogurt

  • 1/2 tsp pepper

  • 1/2 tsp salt

  • 1 tsp onion powder

STEPS

  1. On a skillet over medium heat, add garlic and onions. Sauté until softened.

  2. Add aminos and vinegar and turn to low. Cook until soft, brown, and caramelized. Mine took about 20 min.

  3. Place cooked onions in fridge for 15 min or so while you put yogurt and spices in a bowl and stir.

  4. Add cooled onions and stir. Leave some out for the top if desired. Sprinkle with chives as a garnish and use crackers, chips, and veggies to dip.
